Duncraft Classic Ported Bluebird Mealworm Feeder
Perfectly sized for bluebirds with 1½" entry openings
Bluebirds feel safest feeding in a sheltered space, and this feeder is thoughtfully designed around their natural preferences. Based on our bestselling bluebird feeder, it offers an enclosed feeding area with open fly-through access that makes feeding comfortable for adult bluebirds and easy for fledglings learning to land and feed on their own. Because of this open-access design, larger birds like starlings may also enter.
Two round 1½" entry openings are fitted with chew-proof metal portal protectors for added durability while maintaining the open feel bluebirds prefer. Clearview plastic sides let you enjoy watching bluebirds feed and make it easy to monitor mealworm levels at a glance. Interior grooved perches provide secure footing for adults and extra confidence for young birds as they learn.
A clearview plastic roof helps protect dried mealworms from rain and splashing, and the feeder fills easily from the top for quick refills and simple cleaning. Ready to hang with the included cable. Durable blue recycled plastic. 9 × 8 × 6½ inches tall.

Choosing the right bluebird feeder for your yard
Bluebirds benefit from feeders that offer easy entry, especially during nesting season when fledglings are learning to feed. This feeder is intentionally designed with open access to support young birds and encourage natural feeding behavior.
If you’re specifically looking for a feeder that limits access by starlings, this model may not be the best fit. If starlings are common in your area and exclusion is a priority, we recommend choosing one of our starling-resistant bluebird feeders, which feature smaller or recessed openings.
